Australian Finger Lime - the miracle ingredient you've been hearing about

As skincare trends come and go, we are constantly exposed to new ingredients. Some are life-changing (cue hyaluronic acid 😏) and some aren't. We are here to introduce you to one of the ingredients you're going to want to remember - Australian Finger Lime!

Citrus Gems. D'emerald — Citrus Men

Australian Finger Limes are native to Australia, specifically to the rainforests of Northern New South Wales and Southeast Queensland. These small fruits once grew in the wild during ancient times, but when European colonisation arrived, the deforestation for settlements and farming almost destroyed the entire species. Thankfully, some finger lime varieties survived, and they are the source for most trees used in production today!

There are several reasons as to why this ingredient is being hailed the superhero of skincare - here are just a few.

Australian Finger Limes work hard to facilitate the absorption of important ingredients into your skin, this improves overall hydration and supports the production of collagen.

It also contains three times the amount of Vitamin C that is found in an orange, which means it can assist in healing acne, premature ageing (caused by sun exposure), psoriasis, rosacea and uneven skin pigmentation.

Now we wouldn't ramble on about an incredible ingredient if we weren't able to offer it to you in its best form. Our Nourishing Body Balm contains pure Finger Lime extract from Northern Queensland. This means it not only moisturises your skin, but it hydrates it on a deeper level. The finger lime in our Body Balm will leave you with soft, smooth and most importantly glowing skin - it's our promise to you.
